Fringe Red Light Therapy Special Considerations

All you need is love, and red light therapy! (probably)

Fringe Special Considerations FAQ

Red Light Therapy is an incredible tool for many reasons, but as with everything, there are special circumstances that require special consideration. Check it out.

Yes, you sure can.
Red Light Therapy is a great option for pets for many of the same conditions it is used for with humans.

Fringe Red Light Therapy Wraps may be easiest to use for animals, and the standard and extra long wraps both have covers (sold separately) you can use if you’d like to keep your wrap cleaner while using it on your furry friends.

Animals should always be supervised with use. Since pets can’t talk (at least, ours can’t) start with the 50% intensity setting for a shorter 5 or 10 minute session and gradually increase the intensity and/or treatment time if needed.

Red Light Therapy is a go-to safe and effective treatment for their aches and pains, just like it is for ours.
We do not recommend to use your Fringe red light therapy wrap over your abdomen area or breasts while pregnant or breast feeding. It can be a helpful tool for pain, inflammation, and healing in the legs, arms, upper back and head.

While red light therapy is generally considered safe and low-risk – we always recommend consulting with a doctor to make sure they approve of any new health products such as Red Light Therapy, while pregnant or breast feeding.

Scientific studies  have shown red light therapy to be safe and beneficial for our health. However, We recommend consulting with a doctor to make sure they approve of any new health interventions, such as Red Light Therapy for your infants or children.

If approved by your doctor, infants and children must always be supervised by an adult when using red light therapy. If your infant or child is non-verbal, be aware that they may not be able to indicate if the light is uncomfortably warm. Make sure to check their skin temperature frequently.

You can, but it won’t work as well. The most optimal results are achieved through having direct contact with the light so your skin can absorb it!

First off, have a great trip!

Our wrap’s lightweight design makes it a perfect travel companion. Here are some travel tips for you:

  • If you are traveling to a different region from where you bought the device, the adapter we included has universal voltage (100-240V AC) This range covers the standard voltage levels used in most countries around the world. However, you will need to use an outlet adapter to account for the different outlet shapes in other regions.
  • Please make sure that the device is only supplied with 5V DC voltage electricity.
  • Our wrap’s do have lithium batteries, so you may need to pack it in a carry-on (always check with your airline first!)
  • If you want to red light in the sky, confirm with the flight crew that the device can be used on the airplane prior to flight.
