Currently there are over 4,000 published research papers substantiating the healing power of light therapy for its potential to help a wide variety of health concerns – including female pelvic health conditions. As a safe treatment option, light therapy is used by medical professionals and studied by scientists for its ability to help with tissue rejuvenation, inflammation, pain management, and balancing of the microbiome.
Red and Near Infrared Light therapy stimulates your body’s natural healing process at a cellular level through increased cellular energy production. Those energized cells in turn strengthen our body’s own healing capabilities through increasing blood flow and oxygen to our tissues for improved tissue regeneration and repair. Energized cells also increase collagen production for improved tissue tone, modulate inflammation, and help support a healthy internal microbiome.
Blue light therapy has antimicrobial effects and may also help moderate the bacterial activity that causes chronic microbial imbalances in our pelvic microflora.
The long list of potential benefits continue to amaze people – scientific literature supports using light therapy for assistance with hydration, tone, control and overall pelvic wellbeing.

Light Intensity, sometimes referred to as irradiance, is the amount of light energy your skin receives over a given period of time. Higher intensity of light does not mean better results, if the intensity is too great – the benefits are negated!
While many companies claim to have over 100mW/cm2 of light intensity (too hot!), we have engineered all our red light therapy products to deliver this sun-like light intensity of 20-40mW/cm2 for each session.
At Fringe, we have committed to accurate and honest measurements. We test all of our red light therapy products to verify wavelengths and light intensity and then we publish the data for you to look at.
When starting a light therapy routine, you can start with a lower amount of time and gradually work your way up to the recommended time of 10 minutes/day. The Fringe Light Therapy Pelvic wand has a convenient built-in 10 minute timer. We recommend using your Fringe Light Therapy Pelvic Wand once a day, 3-7 times per week.
You may feel a warm sensation during your session. You can reduce your session time or reduce the light brightness to ensure comfort.
Using warm, running water and a mild unscented soap thoroughly clean your entire wand before and after each use. Dry it with a non-lint towel. Store in it’s case. Please don’t use any cleaning appliances on the devices as these may damage it. Please don’t clean the device while it is turned on, or charging. Your wand is waterproof.

I've only received the wand recently so have used it 5 times so far. It's hard to tell if anything is changing and I also believe I have a healthy vagina. However I do think I've noticed that Ican hold more pee longer than normal.
I do find that the controls on the wand are very hard to see. Overall, I guess I'm happy with the wand...
I’ve been recommending the Fringe Light Therapy Wand to my clients, and they’ve found it incredibly helpful for managing pain, easing tension, and supporting their healing. It’s a great way to continue their progress between sessions.
As a pelvic floor PT, I’m always on the lookout for tools that not only work for me but could also benefit my patients. I’ve been using the red light therapy pelvic wand for three weeks now, and I’m really loving it. The features it offers make it valuable for a wide range of people, depending on their specific needs or tissue sensitivity. It’s super easy and comfortable to use, which is a huge plus for anyone who might be intimidated by trying something new.
The wand has three different light settings, so it can be customized based on individual needs, and the ability to lower the intensity to 50% is a thoughtful touch. This makes it perfect for those with more sensitive tissues or for gradually building tolerance. The four vibration settings are all comfortable and effective—nothing feels too intense or overwhelming. One of my favorite features is the 10-minute timer, which takes all the guesswork out of the process and ensures it’s being used for the right amount of time without needing to think about it.
After three weeks, I’ve noticed some really positive changes. My pelvic tissues feel less dry, and there’s definitely more plumpness, which has been such a nice improvement. These changes are subtle but noticeable, and I can see how this tool could provide similar benefits for my patients.
If you’re considering a red light therapy wand, I’d absolutely recommend this one. It’s well-designed, versatile, and easy to use, and I’m already seeing results!
The light therapy wand has met and exceeded my expectations. Its many functions are easy to operate. The vibration component definitely increases the comfort part of the equation. Light therapy is great at increasing blood flow which increases tissue health. I’m finding it a great asset to my overall pelvic health.
